Brunner Named Starter for WCBL West Squad

Longtime Okotoks Dawgs ace Graham Brunner will start the Western Canadian Baseball League All-Star Game for the West Division.

It’s a decision that Dawgs manager Lou Pote and Dawgs pitching coach Joe Sergent made and told Brunner about after a July 18th 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express.

Okotoks Dawgs 2024 Season Preview

These are the words that adorn the back of the sign that welcomes fans of the Okotoks Dawgs to Seaman Stadium. They serve as a reminder of the club’s appetite for winning.

And if the last few years are any indication, the Dawgs have been well fed.

Okotoks enters the 2024 season as the back-to-back defending Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) champions and the team has won three of the last four WCBL titles.

Wrub-bing It In

Jacob Wrubleski has had a freshman season to remember at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

The catcher has put himself into the school’s top-10 performances in home runs, RBI and runs scored.
