Actually, I was doggone lucky." @orioles legend Brooks Robinson was a regular on the speaking circuit in Alberta, including stops in Lethbridge, Lacombe and at the @calgaryboosterclub. Very saddened to hear of the passing of Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson, who played in the minors with the Vancouver Mounties. He was also a guest speaker at a Lethbridge sports dinner in 1967, as well as in Lacombe in 1980, and the Calgary Booster Club dinner in 1982.
