The Medicine Hat Major ‘AAA’ Mavs came within one win of doing something only two other Alberta teams had done before.
Had they beaten Whalley in the Little League Canada championship game, they would have headed to Williamsport for the Little League World Series.
Despite the setback, it was a summer to remember for the Mavs.
