They’re competitive, but Turner Zdunich says there is no sibling rivalry between he and his three brothers.

That being said, the High River native and Dawgs Academy alum may still be reveling in the fact that he has eclipsed his older brother, Tucker, in a couple of career milestones at Colby Community College.

When Nash Crowell stepped into the batter’s box for his first at-bat of a weekend series against Bryan College, he had no idea history was about to unfold.

Even after he took an offering from Ben Zyburt over the fence and started his home run trot, the gravity of breaking a record didn’t cross the Dawgs Academy alum’s mind.

In looking through the last five years of the ADS All-College Team rosters, there has always been a strong contingent of returning veterans year after year.

2022 Season Preview: Okotoks Dawgs

The Okotoks Dawgs are a perennial favourite to rack up wins and position themselves atop the West Division standings in the Western Canadian Baseball League.

After fielding two teams in a pandemic-shortened 2021 campaign, the Dawgs will be looking to return to the form that allowed them to capture the 2019 WCBL championship.

Tucker Zdunich is all about “intent.”

Everything he does is with the intent of making himself a better baseball player, and that mindset is paying off for the High River native and Dawgs Academy alum.

After a stellar start to his college career with Colby Community College, Zdunich is continuing his torrid pace with Reinhardt University.
