Top Dawgs Again

There’s no place like home for the Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA) Dawgs.

The Lethbridge-based squad has become the regular host of the Canadian College Baseball Conference (CCBC) World Series over the last few years at Spitz Stadium.

After an unexpected move back to Lloyd Nolan Park, the Dawgs captured their first CCBC title since 2017 with a 12-7 win over Edmonton.

7th Inning Stretch: Tetsu Nishida

It might be one of the most potent infields that Todd Hubka has assembled at Prairie Baseball Academy in quite some time.

Led by shortstop and leadoff hitter Tetsu Nishida, the Dawgs enter the season looking to get back on top of the Canadian College Baseball Conference world for the first time since 2017.
