“The New Britain 11” were members of the Double-A Rock Cats who kind of won the 2001 Eastern League championship.

The final was shutdown following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and the players were hungry to win a final outright.

Now members of the 2002 Edmonton Trappers, they embarked on a journey to finish what they started.
