That didn’t stop him from showing up early to Spring Training, looking to see what kind of progress he’s made since undergoing his second Tommy John surgery since 2018.

Cleveland Calling

Erik Sabrowski wasn’t overly surprised when he saw his name come up in the recent MLB Rule 5 Draft.

Battling arm injuries the last three years – including a second Tommy John Surgery this fall – the Cleveland Guardians took him from the San Diego Padres with the 11th overall pick.

The Edmonton-area product is hoping to use all he’s learned over the past few years to make a big jump in 2023.
