He was a part-time scout, working for New York Yankees scout Dick Groch, who signed Hall of Famer Derek Jeter.

Michael Yusypchuk is already turning into one of the most-heralded young Alberta prospects heading into the 2024 MLB Draft.

The 16-year-old St. Albert Minor Baseball Association product added to his legacy this summer by throwing a no-hitter during the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
