2021 ADS All-College Team

As the baseball season winds to a close, we take a look back at some of the top performances by Alberta athletes in US College programs.

It’s our second annual “All-College Team”, where we have gone through stats reports and boxscores to find the top performers at each position.

Some are newcomers, while others were on the team last year. All are worthy candidates to be celebrated for their achievements in 2021.

Bengal Brothers

Ayden Makarus knew he was going to a powerhouse when he joined LSU-Eunice in 2020.

Little did he know, the Bengals’ quest to win their seventh NJCAA Division II championship since 2006 would face hurdles along the way.

With fellow Dawgs Academy grad Jackson Fraser, Makarus finally got to taste a title this spring.

2020 ADS All-College Team

“Unparalleled” is a word used far too often when describing 2020.

But when you look at some of the performances being put together by Alberta’s baseball products at US colleges, the year was actually setting up to be one of the best.

We take a look back at some of those highlights by naming an All-Alberta team for 2020.
