After spending his young baseball career traveling around Edmonton, Seth Suer is happy going to a warmer climate when he goes to college.

The 18-year-old grew up in Morinville before beginning a whirlwind tour through the capital region.

He has committed to Phoenix College.

Stepping onto the mound at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, left-hander Erik Sabrowski doesn’t remember much from the moment that made him a Major League Baseball player with the Cleveland Guardians.

The starting shortstop was living every Canadian baseball player’s dream of representing their province on home turf.

He’s elevated his game to perform at the Canadian Futures Showcase and is now in line to join Cloud County Community College.

Dom-inating Performance

It has been a whirlwind few months for Dominik Morgan.

The Sherwood Park native suited up for Baseball Canada’s Junior National Team and the Sylvan Lake Gulls, and will soon join the Canadian Futures Showcase and PBR West Coast Games.

The AHP Academy product is happy to keep taking those phone calls.

Standing on Guard

It was kind of fitting that Erik Sabrowski had to wait a little while longer than he had hoped to make his Major League Baseball debut.

After getting through two Tommy John surgeries and the global pandemic just to turn pro, the St. Albert product made the best of the opportunity.

On Sept. 4, 2024, Sabrowski came out of the bullpen for the Cleveland Guardians against the Kansas City Royals.

Cooking at McCook

Looking back on his baseball journey, Jason Serafinchon believes he wouldn’t be where he is now had it not been for the decision to lose weight – a lot of weight.

After losing nearly 80 pounds at AHP Academy, he’s started turning heads with McCook Community College.

He hopes his performance this spring helps him find a four-year school to keep his baseball dream alive.
