Personal highs were reached, teams came out of nowhere to achieve fantastic results, and the game itself developed in new, exciting ways.

Might As Well Jump

It’s there for the taking and Tristan Peters is ready to grab it.

The outfielder made a name for himself with the Triple-A Durham Bulls by making spectacular diving catches in the International League this year.

In 2025, he wants to make the jump to Major League Baseball (MLB).

The accolades keep rolling in for Matt Wilkinson.

The Dawgs Academy and Okotoks Dawgs alum had an outstanding season in the Cleveland Guardians system.

For his efforts, “Tugboat” was named the Canadian Baseball Network’s Wayne Norton Award winner as the top Canadian pitcher in the minor leagues.

It makes sense that a guy named “Tugboat” would have a lot of ‘ships.

Championships, that is.

Matt Wilkinson – a lefty pitcher from Ladner, British Columbia who trained at Dawgs Academy in Okotoks – has now won championship titles in the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL), the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and as a professional in the Midwest League.
