East Division Claims 2026 WCBL All-Star Game Crown

Entering the fifth inning of the Western Canadian Baseball League All-Star Game on Sunday afternoon, there was little in the way for offence for the host East Division.

In a span of four batters, the game at Cairns Field in Saskatoon flipped on its ear with the East driving home five consecutive runs.

Including a decisive, two-run homer off the bat of Medicine Hat Mavericks infielder Carter Roth to secure a convincing 9-2 win over the West Division.

2026 WCBL All-Star Weekend Happenings

The best and brightest of the Western Canadian Baseball League were on full display on Saturday for the first day of the All-Star Weekend.

Gael Salinas (Saskatoon) took home the Bunt Competition, David Simmons (Energy City) captured the Home Run Derby, and Sylvan Lake was named host for the 2027 All-Star Weekend.
