Todd Hubka is the ultimate team guy.

He’s never afraid to boast about the players on his current Prairie Baseball Academy roster, looking ahead to his upcoming recruiting class, or beam about how proud he is of the hundreds of alumni players that have come through the program.

Hubka isn’t a big fan of talking about himself, which was put to the test when he was inducted to the PBA Hall of Fame.

Cascades Claim CCBC Crown

13 has become a lucky number for the University of Fraser Valley Cascades in their quest for Canadian College Baseball Conference supremacy.

After beating Okanagan College 13-1 for their first title in 2019, it took them 13 innings to beat the Coyotes again the 2024 championship.

It’s hard to believe that Owen Lucas is just a year removed from thinking his collegiate baseball career was over.

Having returned home to Ontario after trying to make it onto the Prairie Baseball Academy roster, he fully expected to start his non-sports life.

However, some summer baseball reignited his passion for the game and he’s taking full advantage of the opportunity in 2024.
