Actually, I was doggone lucky." @orioles legend Brooks Robinson was a regular on the speaking circuit in Alberta, including stops in Lethbridge, Lacombe and at the @calgaryboosterclub. Very saddened to hear of the passing of Hall of Fame third baseman Brooks Robinson, who played in the minors with the Vancouver Mounties. He was also a guest speaker at a Lethbridge sports dinner in 1967, as well as in Lacombe in 1980, and the Calgary Booster Club dinner in 1982. If you were in attendance for one of these events, or any others, or simply want to share your favourite memories of the @orioles legend, we would love to hear them. #Baseball #RIPBrooks ⚾️
